About the event

Did you sow native seeds this winter? Do you want to learn how best to care for them as young seedlings? Join us at our Native Seed Center at Turkey Hill Farm for a hands-on demonstration of how to care for your newly germinated native seedlings. This event will focus on demonstrating the nursery style of dividing and planting, and how to best apply that to a home garden setting. We will walk through the details of soil mixes for different plant needs, fertilization regimens, how to carefully divide young seedlings, and pot them in containers for the summer. There are lots of little details we can share from our experience growing plants to help set you up to have thriving plants ready to go into the ground this fall.

Participants will go home with a pot of little plants for their own garden!
